Learning outcomes: Students will obtain knowledge about state and development of geotourism in the world, in the CR and in the SR. They will acquire methodology and approach of local, regional and state authorities to the development of natural and technical heritage. They will become familiar with positve and negative aspects of geotuprism in the world. Students will be able to identify objects of geotourism

Brief content of course: 1. Definition of Geotourism, and its development 2. Formation and development of Geotourism 3. Geological heritage of a mankind 4. Geoheritage 5. Protection of the natural heritage 6. Technical (mining) heritage of a mankind 7. Evaluation of geosites 8. Examples of utilisation of unique geosites for geotouristic purposes in the world 9. State and possibilities of geotourism development in the CR and SR
