Learning outcomes: Upon completion of this course, students should have knowledge of marketing and management in the field of tourism, planning, financing, the essence of public-private cooperation in the development of tourism at the destination.

Brief content of course: Introduction to the course. Region, regional development, regional policy, destination. Regionalisation of tourism in Slovakia. Specifics of management and tourism planning in regions. Marketing of tourism destinations. Organization and financing of tourism in regions. Tourist information center in region.
