1.Why did you choose Košice?
Because I wanted to go to a completely different place. I mean different weather, culture, language… And I thought that Slovakia is not very well known like Italy or Poland and I wanted to get to know it.
- How do you like your mobility so far?
It’s really very complete. There are a lot of places to go, we have some activities every day with ESN, I joined the university basketball team and I found out that Slovaks love hiking and now I love it too. I haven’t had time to get bored yet!
- What would you like to experience/see during your mobility at TUKE?
Hmm I have a few things I want to do during my mobility: I would like to learn Slovak, to be able to go to the supermarket and talk to people (basics), I would really like to get to know the whole of Slovakia, cities, mountains, towns, play hockey, ice skating, hiking…
- Would you recommend Erasmus to other students?
Yes!!! Recently a Spanish girl asked me if she should come here and I told her: Of course!!! TUKE is an amazing university, it’s a really big campus and has a lot of things that are very interesting. Besides, Slovakia was a great discovery for me, the people are much more warm than I thought. Košice is a beautiful city with really nice places. The trips are super interesting and fun. It’s also a really good place to visit other countries. You can buy a bus ticket for only 15€ and you can travel by train for free all over the country.
