A Perfect Erasmus Destination for Cultures, Connections, and Convenience

I would definitely recommend going on Erasmus. Having gone several times already, I am a walking example that it is the most wonderful experience. Including international placements and projects, this is my seventh Erasmus mobility.

Rating of Erasmus experience

1.Why did you choose Košice?

I chose Košice because I heard from a friend from Slovakia that it is a nice place for Erasmus. Besides, TUKE University has faculties that allowed me to come with my friends. I also like the fact that Košice is a small city where everything is close to me, which is much more convenient for me after living in Warsaw.

  1. How do you like your mobility so far?

I like mobility very much so far. The university is great, the dorm is much better than I expected, the people are friendly and ESN organises a lot of events where I can integrate with other students. If I had the strength, I could meet new people every day from the Erasmus programme and the Slovaks speak good English.

  1. What would you like to experience/see during your mobility at TUKE?

During my mobility I would like to get to know as many people as possible, deepen my knowledge of their cultures, exchange knowledge about the world, grow linguistically and develop my “soft skills” and have fun at the same time.

  1. Would you recommend Erasmus to other students?

I would definitely recommend going on Erasmus. Having gone several times already, I am a walking example that it is the most wonderful experience. Including international placements and projects, this is my seventh Erasmus mobility. Going on my first Erasmus has changed my life completely. Thanks to the skills and knowledge I have gained during these placements, I have developed as a person and have a different outlook on life. Erasmus shows that studying can be really fun and that you can develop yourself not only in the field you are studying.
