Mobility types
Staff mobility for teaching (STA)
The aim is to teach at the host institution. The minimum number of hours to be taught is 8/week. The teacher should carry out his/her teaching placement during the semester at the partner institution, not during the exam period!
Mobility of HEI staff for training purposes (STT)
The aim is to enable participants to learn through the transfer of knowledge or know-how and to gain practical experience. The result should be the professional development of the staff. The activities can be varied: training, study visit, joint work, working groups, practical training, job shadowing, etc. Participation in conferences is not allowed!
Combined mobility of university staff (STA+STT)
This is a combination of STA and STT mobility activities, at the same host institution. In this case, the minimum number of hours to be taught is 4, the rest of the mobility is a training activity.
Blended intensive programmes
Short-term intensive programmes using innovative teaching and learning methods, including online collaboration.
May include learning based on challenges on which transnational and interdisciplinary teams work together (e.g. in the field of sustainable development, environmental protection or other societal challenges identified by regions, cities or societies).
Enable new and more flexible mobility formats combining physical mobility with a virtual component (the virtual element is mandatory).
Develop collaborative online learning exchanges and teamwork.
The virtual element must bring online learners together to work collaboratively and at the same time on specific tasks that are part of a blended intensive programme and count towards the overall learning outcomes.
