Interested candidates have the opportunity to submit a completed application form (signed by a senior member of staff) with the required attachments by 15.07.2026 to the Faculty Programme Coordinator.
The application form for the purpose of teaching must be accompanied by a teaching programme (staff mobility agreement – teaching) signed by the applicant, the receiving as well as the sending institution.
A staff mobility agreement (training) signed by the applicant, the receiving and the sending institution must be attached to the application for training.
The signature of the applicant’s senior staff member (not the faculty coordinator) is required for the sending institution.
Supported activities:
- Teacher mobility for the purpose of teaching at a partner HEI /minimum 8 teaching hours; 2-5 days/,
- Mobility of HEI staff to enterprises for training purposes – exchange of theoretical and practical experience /2-5 days/,
- Mobility of administrative, non-teaching and teaching staff of HEIs to a foreign HEI for the purpose of training – improvement of their working qualities /2-5 days/.
Erasmus+ funding will allow mobility for a minimum of 2 and maximum of 5 working days, Monday to Friday continuously.
All mobility must be completed no later than 02.07.2026.
Important information related to the choice of the host institution:
- The list of partner universities for mobility for teaching purposes is published on the website https://erasmus.tuke.sk/partner-institutionsin-eu-and-eea/
An inter-institutional agreement between universities is not required for mobility for training purposes.
- Thanks to TUKE’s membership in the ULYSSEUS Alliance of European Universities, TUKE employees also have the opportunity to participate in staff mobility opportunities offered by our Alliance, which are regularly updated on our mobility page: https://erasmus.tuke.sk/ulysseus-mobility-calls/. The ULYSSEUS virtual mobility opportunities are continuously updated, more information can be found here.
- In order to fully exploit the potential of the existing Erasmus+ bilateral agreements and to diversify staff mobility, we will take into account the choice of destination and receiving institution when evaluating applications. If you are interested in mobility to the Czech Republic and Poland, please use the CEEPUS mobility programme as a priority.
o If a faculty submits such an application despite this, it will be excluded from the selection process
- Maximum number of mobilities per person: up to 2 mobilities in the 2026/27 academic year, of which up to 1 may be a BIP
o For teaching staff, at least 1 teaching mobility is required
- Erasmus+ CANNOT be used to attend conferences!
- Support for individual travel (not groups), max 2 people per institution at the same time
o Exceptions are strategic initiatives organized by ÚZVaM to support Erasmus+ mobility
Important information related to the application approval process:
- The selection of mobility participants at the faculty level will be based on a ranking following the evaluation of applicants’ applications according to the applicable criteria (selection criteria and further information on staff mobility are available HERE).
- During the final approval of applications, consideration will also be given to the current involvement of staff/mobility applicants in activities aimed at developing the internationalization of the TUKE environment, which are carried out under the auspices of the Rector’s Office, Department of International Relations and Mobility (the Ulysseus project, development projects to strengthen internationalization, etc.).
- An employee’s application will be rejected if:
- o the employee failed to commence an approved mobility in the previous academic year without cause and without notifying the Office of International Relations and Mobility;
- o the employee was significantly late in submitting the documentation for the settlement of the previous mobility.
- Incomplete applications will be excluded from the approval process.
- For academic staff, teaching mobility is a priority.
- In an effort to fully utilize the potential of valid bilateral agreements within the Erasmus+ program and to diversify staff mobility, we will take into account the choice of destination and host institution when evaluating applications. If you are interested in mobility to the Czech Republic and Poland, please prioritize the CEEPUS mobility program.
- The evaluation of multiple applications from a single applicant is subject to the current availability of financial resources within the project and the selection criteria established by the Rector’s Office (ÚZVaM).
- A staff member from the International Relations and Mobility Office will notify the applicant of the approval of their nomination via email. If the applicant’s mobility application has been approved, the earliest date for departure is September 7, 2026.
- The residency grant is intended to cover accommodation, meals, and similar expenses—when submitting the final account, receipts must be provided (staying with friends/relatives = zero expenses = does not qualify for this type of grant)
- The employee is required to provide photographic documentation and feedback from the mobility
o the visited university/workplaces, photos from meetings with partners, the university campus, etc.;
o outcomes of the mobility (benefits).
